Question for TRUE christians, whats your thoughts on the name it claim teachings?

i find no were in scripture that the lord will give us what we want, but he gives us what we need.jesus said you got food, shelter, cloths? be content with that.you see its a bad circle, if you don't get what your praying for( money,health,etc..) you got sin in your life, or your just not praying hard enough, this is apostasy.if the name it claim it doctrine is correct, then why did the followers of jesus go hungry, naked, ship wrecked, murdered.. paul, peter, james, etc... they all hard hardships when following christ. the prosperity doctrine does not hold up to scripture.
