I need help. Is there any teens out there who have or have gaming addictions?

My son has been a gamer for quite some time. However last year when he turned 18, he dropped out of school, moved in with his grandmother (who can never say no) and has nothing besides play games ever since. His friendships have all fallen apart, he has no desire to do anything but play games, plays games all night, and sleeps all day. HIs grandma doesnt know what to do, i dont know what to do...Im looking for input from some teens who may have gone through this.
