ANYBODY WHO HAS HAD A SPINAL FUSION?

My grandmother has spinal stenosis and her and her surgeon are hoping a spinal fusion would be beneficial for her. She would actually be getting two fusions at one time. I would just like some input from anybody who has had one or knows someone who has. I would like to know what to expect, the results, and of any complications or hardships experienced post surgery.
